Lubbock Police Investigate 2 Drive-By Shootings That Left Homes Riddled With Bullets

Lubbock Police are investigating two separate drive-by shootings that occurred Tuesday, Feb. 4th, 2020.

KAMC News reports the first shooting was just before 1 a.m. in the 1700 block of East Brown Street. Police say up to six shots were fired, but no injuries were reported. 

The second shooting took place at 1:40 a.m. in the 2700 block of East 8th Street. Police say they found at least fourteen shell casings in the street but again no one was injured.

According to a police report, one of the residents at the 8th Street home had a cousin who died in a recent shooting at Level Nightclub.

No suspects have been named at this time, and investigators do not know if the shootings are connected. If you have any information on these shootings, call the Crime Line at 741-1000.
