
Lubbock Man Indicted on Manslaughter Charge in Fatal Hit-and-Run
A Lubbock man was indicted Tuesday in connection with a deadly hit-and-run accident.
Thirty-nine-year-old Raul Elizondo was indicted on the charges of Failure to Stop and Render Aid and Manslaughter.
Back in January, Elizondo was accused of driving his SUV at a man who was watching a street fight near 57th Street and Vicksburg Avenue. Twenty-nine-year-old Christopher Garcia died as a result of his injuries.
Elizondo remains in custody at the Lubbock County Jail in lieu of a $275,000 bond.
