Lubbock Man Faces Life Sentence for Sexual Assault of Child

39-year-old Victor Nunez of Lubbock was indicted on Tuesday, September 3rd, on multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

According to KAMC News, Nunez assaulted a child that was 7-years-old back in July of 2013. Apparently, the child was left alone with Nunez while their mother was working. Nunez had a relationship with the mother during this time.

Nunez has admitted to sexually assaulting the child on one occasion and is currently booked in the Lubbock County Detention Center. He faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.
