Lubbock Was Featured in a ‘Saturday Night Live’ Skit [Watch]

It was just a quick mention, but Lubbock, Texas got name-checked on the Jan. 27 episode of "Saturday Night Live."

Guest host Will Ferrell plays Gareth, a flight attendant who takes his safety rap dark. Lubbock is only mentioned at the beginning, but it's fun anyway.

Just for the record, I found a Lubbock-to-Charleston flight. It had two stops and ran a little over $500. Let's hope you don't get Gareth as your steward.
