Lubbock Couple Accused of Abusing Two Children for Years

A Lubbock couple is accused of physical and sexual abuse of two minors.

KAMC news reported that an arrest warrant was issued for 38-year-old Ralph Ramirez and 37-year-old Stacey Ibarra (pictured above). Ramirez allegedly sexually abused two minors, while Ibarra allegedly knew about the abuse but did nothing to prevent it from happening.

Ramirez was charged with multiple counts of Indecency with a Child, and Ibarra has been charged with Injury to a Child, Elderly, or Disabled Individual.

Reports state that police spoke with one of female minors who told investigators that Ramirez would come into her room and sexually assault her. The sexual assault is said to have been ongoing for two to three years, according to the girl.

Both suspects are currently being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center as of October 11. Ibarra is being held on $75,000 bond, while Ramirez is being held on a $200,000 bond.
