Lubbock’s Chuck E. Cheese Gets Remodeled, Now Has More Games Than Ever
Chuck E. Cheese Remodels Lubbock Location
The Lubbock location of Chuck E. Cheese (5612 West Loop 289) has undergone a big remodel and held a Grand Re-Opening event this week to show off all their changes.
We spoke with Chuck E. Cheese Lubbock's manager, Rey, who walked us around the pizzeria/game room to show off all the changes.
In addition to other improvements, the game floor now boasts 10 additional new games.
And though the new games, which includes a throwback 4-player Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cabinet, will immediately appeal to kiddos, Rey touted several other changes that improved the overall look and feel of the location.
The exterior of the building has been redone, complete with new signs. Inside, the walls are newly painted, with fresh signage and decorations, along with new carpeting and tile flooring. The booths and seating are also new.
However, there's been one major loss for Lubbock's Chuck E. Cheese: the titular character's animatronic is gone. But it's not all bad news. Now, a real-life Chuck E. Cheese will come out to say hi to kids and bust a move on the brand new dance floor.
