A Lubbock Airport TSA Employee Shut Out By Government Shutdown Needs a New Insulin Pump
Kricket Harkins has been a friend of mine since we were both in school. She's a TSA employee at the Lubbock airport, so she's been hit hard by the shutdown, along with all the other government employees. She's also diabetic and needs insulin daily.
Harkins recently had to get a new insulin pump to keep her alive. But with the government shutdown, she has also not been paid for almost two months.
There's a GoFundMe page set up to donate to the cost of her new pump and supplies. Hopefully, we can cover this cost for her. And hopefully, the government will stay open so she can keep herself healthy.
She's a great person, wife, and mother, and she serves for our security daily. If you can donate, please do so at this link.
