Little Liam Criner Is Adjusting Well to His Brace
The latest update on Liam Criner is encouraging, and I wanted to pass it along.
Liam's first week with his new brace took some adjusting to, and he's had a few little accidents along the way, but he’s definitely a trooper!
He has to wear his brace for 19 hours a day with a few breaks in between, at which time he takes full advantage of playing and dancing around.
The MRI results also came in normal, meaning they have pinpointed the cause of his scoliosis, which is great news.
Liam still has a long way to go for a full recovery -- some 18 months of therapy to treat a severe case of progressive idiopathic infantile scoliosis.
The Criners had this to say on their GoFundMe page:
We want to thank everyone that has texted , called and emailed us to check on Liam and us. We are very thankful to have wonderful friends/ family and even people we don't know that have continued to pray for us and have donated. Thank you again for the love and support!
I love sharing encouraging news and this definitely made my day. Way to go, Liam!
