Justin Stockton Ready to Step Up as Texas Tech’s Starting Running Back
DeAndre Washington rushed for over 1,000 yards in the 2014 season and 2015 season for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The man taking Washington's spot is Justin Stockton. He spoke to 1340 The Fan's Rob Breaux about the help and advice he's received from the former Texas Tech star.
"[DeAndre Washington's] like a big brother to me and really to all the other running backs here. If we had a question about anything, he was always there to answer it," Stockton said.
Stockton also talked about the group of running backs they have on campus now.
"I feel like, as a group, we're going to run for a lot yards. Catch for a lot of yards as well," said Stockton. "It's a blessing to have other running backs around... we all bring something different to the table."
