The Houston Rockets handed the Los Angeles Lakers another loss on the year as they beat them 107-105.

Toney Douglas led the Rockets in scoring with 22 points.  Greg Smith contributed with 21 points to help the Rockets to victory.  James Harden had a rough night only scoring 15 points on the night.  Houston used a 9-2 run to overcome a 13-point deficit and take a 100-99 lead with 2:30 remaining in the game.

On the other side of the court,  Kobe Bryant led the Lakers in scoring with 39 points.  Dwight Howard contributed with 16 points and Antawn Jamison rounded out the scoring with 15 points in a losing effort for the Lakers.  The Lakers had a chance to with the game but Kobe Bryant missed a three pointer and Metta World Peace (Ron Artest) missed a layup that secured the victory for the Rockets.

Houston continues its road trip this Friday when they take on in state rival San Antonio Spurs.  Tip off is at 7:30 pm.
