The Houston Rockets received a Christmas gift yesterday by blowing out the Chicago Bulls 120-97.

James Harden led the Rockets in scoring with 26 points.  Jeremy Lin contributed with 20 points and 11 assists and Omer Asik rounded out the scoring with 20 points and 18 rebounds.  All of the Houston starters scored in double figures and they have won six of their last seven games.

On the other side of the court, Nate Robinson led the Bulls in scoring with 27 points.  Marco Belinelli contributed with 15 points and Luol Deng rounded out the scoring with 14 points.  Chicago was outscored 31-19 in the second quarter to break the game open for Houston.

There will be no rest for the Rockets after playing on Christmas day as they will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on the road tonight.  Tip off is at 7 pm.
