Zia Park Casino Hotel & Racetrack in Hobbs, New Mexico announced on Facebook that they will be reopening their doors for business this Friday, March 5th, at 33 percent capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions.

According to a post made by Zia Park back in 2020, they have been closed since March 16th of last year.

Fans of the weekend getaway spot have voiced their excitement and anticipations for the reopening online in hundreds of comments. The casino shared a post reminding everyone that they are taking the necessary precautions and understand the pandemic is still at large. They will enforce strict guidelines to ensure the safety of guests.

It's probably safer to go there than it is to stores. Most stores aren't doing temperature screenings.
