A quick recap of each Red Raider chose: Kelby Tomlinson (Elgin, Okla.) was taken in the 12th round (387th overall) by the San Francisco Giants, senior infielder Nick Popescu (Flower Mound, Texas) was selected in the 33rd round (1,016th overall) by the Atlanta Braves, redshirt-junior left-handed pitcher Zach Fowler (Texarkana, Texas) was chosen by the Baltimore Orioles in the 34th round (1,025th overall), and third baseman Reid Redman (Midland, Texas) was drafted in the 37th  round (1,124th overall) by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Texas Tech's four draft picks marks the seventh time in the last eight years the Red Raiders have had at least four players drafted in the MLB Draft.
