After a spectacular season for the Texas Tech baseball team, Gabe Holt continues to rack in the accolades as he has been named a first-team Freshman All-American by D1 Baseball.

It is the fourth Freshman All-American honor for Holt and is the third consecutive year that the Red Raiders have had a Freshman All-American.

This season, Holt totaled 94 hits, including 13 doubles, three triples, and six homers, for a .348 batting average. He also had 44 RBI and 70 runs scored to go with 29 stolen bases. Holt was also named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year, as well as named to the All-Big 12 first team and a unanimous selection for the all-freshman team.
