Gabby Dominguez, Kim Kaufman Named to All-Big 12 Golf Team

A pair of Texas Tech junior women’s golfers in Gabby Dominguez and Kim Kaufman were both named All-Big 12 selections Thursday.

It marked the conferences first all-conference honorees since 2000.

Dominguez leads the Lady Raiders with a 72.8 stroke average and is currently on pace to snap her own school single-season record of 74.6 from her freshman campaign in 2009-10.

Kaufman has posted a 73.1 stroke average through all 11 events. She has finished in the top 10 six times this year and among the top 20 in all but two tournaments.

The Lady Raiders return to the links in just over a week as they tee off at the NCAA West Regional on May 10. The three-day tournament is being held at the Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colo.
