The Dallas Cowboys have signed former Oklahoma Sooner and 10-year NFL veteran defensive lineman Gerald McCoy to a three-year deal worth a maximum of $20.25 Million dollars.

McCoy and Dallas flirted last season when he left the Bucs to sign a one year deal with the Carolina Panthers. Now, he joins the team on a friendly deal with language that includes the Cowboys with an opportunity to get out after one year.

The Veteran DT will directly replace Maliek Collins inside but will be able to rush the passer in obvious situations and will also relieve the loss of Robert Quinn. Overall, great signing by the Cowboys but there are several more positions on defense where the team has obvious holes. Including corner, safety and edge rusher, and that's just the defense.
