The Titans have agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension with former Texas Tech receiver Cameron Batson. The speedy return specialist was set to be a free agent in March but now will be a Titan in 2020.

Batson has struggled with injuries in his young career and spent 2019 on the IR. He played in 11 games for the Titans in 2018 and had eight catches for 82 yards and was expected to contend for a spot on the 53-man roster last fall.

Batson initially joined the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech following the 2018 NFL Draft.

Batson returned both kickoffs and punts during his collegiate career. In four seasons at Texas Tech, Batson collected 157 receptions for 1,499 yards and 14 touchdowns, while returning 22 kickoffs for 417 yards and 65 punts for 394 yards. That's where he'll help the Titans if he can stay healthy in 2020.
