Former political activist and Lubbock radio talkshow host, Armando Gonzales, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.

The 66 year-old Gonzales worked off-and-on in the radio industry since he was 17, and ran unsuccessfully for the Lubbock City Council in 2008. During his political career, Gonzales worked on one of Congressman Charlie Stenholm’s numerous re-election campaigns.

Both complaints were dismissed.
