56-year-old Tye Rogers, the former Lubbock Christian School President, has had his motion to continue being released pending sentencing denied, and has had his sentencing date set.

Back in October of 2020, KAMC News reports that Roger's wife had caught him taking pictures of a 15-year-old girl as she was preparing to take a shower. After being caught, Rogers admitted that he had taken several pictures and videos of the girl in the bathroom beforehand.

A colleague later asked Rogers if what his wife said was true, and he admitted it then, saying something along the lines of "I guess I should resign."

In November of 2020, LCS said in a press release that Rogers wasn't affiliated with the school anymore. This was after law enforcement obtained a search warrant to search Rogers' phone, and found that recently the phone had been cleared of its contents. He did, however, admit to using the phone to possess child pornography.

Rogers was ordered to house arrest on June 14th, 2021 after pleading guilty to his charges earlier in the month.

More recently, Rogers was jailed in the Lubbock County Detention Center. He filed a motion to continue being released until his sentencing, saying he had taken responsibility for his actions, but that motion was denied.

Rogers will be sentenced on September 30th, 2021.
