Lubbock will soon have the first of three projected Nobilitea locations at 11824 Indiana Ave. #700, according to Nobilitea Lubbock's Facebook Page.

It is set to open in February 2021. Nobilitea is a franchised loose leaf and prepared tea store with locations throughout Texas, including the Galleria in Dallas. I have been to that location and I got a very tasty drink there.

Nobilitea also offers an online store for their 120 loose leaf teas, if you can't wait until February:

At NobiliTea, we believe in serving you with not only great tasting tea, but an exceptional experience. From each of our locations across the United States, to our premium loose leaf teas made right in your own home, we are so thankful you choose us.

Varieties include flavored selections from Black, Green, Chai, Wellness, Rooibos, Oolong, White and Herbal, in addition to specialty sugars and limited seasonal flavors. When our location opens in Lubbock, we'll have handcrafted drinks available as well, which will likely include freshly brewed tea, tea lattes, chai lattes, seasonal specialty drinks, tea bar, and energy teas, known as VelociTea. That's what Amarillo has, so I'm assuming it will be very similar here.

Certain teas (white, green, black, pu-erh, and oolong) have long been considered a healthy drink. According to WebMD:

Studies have found that some teas may help with cancerheart disease, and diabetes; encourage weight losslower cholesterol; and bring about mental alertness. Tea also appears to have antimicrobial qualities.

Certainly a better alternative to sugary sodas. I can't wait to drink up at our own Nobilitea.
