Texas Tech had a 24-17 lead over Minnesota at halftime of the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas in Houston.  Jakeem Grant had a 99 yard kickoff return for a touchdown for Texas Tech and Seth Doege rushed for a touchdown.
