Don’t Worry About The Black Smoke Near The Airport

Monday the Lubbock Fire Department will be conducting live fire burns at their training facility just south of the Lubbock Airport.

They will be conducting training exercises a the Airport Rescue and Firefighting Team training area.

So in short, don't call 911, everything is ok and they are just training, training that will ensure you are safe in the event of something bad.
