The Dallas Cowboys are working out five safeties Tuesday at Valley Ranch, the players off day, in an attempt to try and replace injured safety Barry Church.

Church is headed for injured reserve with a torn Achilles.

The list of five includes veterans Tyrone Culver, Antwaun Molden, Eric Frampton, Aaron Rouse and Don Carey.

Culver spent four seasons with the Dolphins. Rouse has 18 career starts between the Packers and Giants, but hasn’t played in the league since 2008.

Molden is a converted cornerback who will take a shot at safety after being released by the Giants in the first wave of cuts on Aug. 27.

Frampton is a special teams player who spent the last five years in Minnesota and doesn’t have a career start.

Carey played five games with the Lions last year and was injured this year with a hamstring issue.
