The Big 12's player of the year Jace Jung is now a consensus All-American. That's seven All-American nods for the Red Raiders Second Baseman. Four of the publications honored Jung with first-team recognition. Two gave him second-team awards and the seventh honor was a third-team. With Jace Jung's seven All-American team appearances, that makes 11 for the Red Raiders this offseason. Jung is one of the most decorated players in the country. According to Texas Tech Athletics, Jung was named the Big 12 Player of the Year, NCBWA National Freshman Hitter of the Year, NCBWA District 7 Co-Player of the Year, and was a finalist for the Dick Howser Trophy.
