On Monday morning the Big 12 Conference named Texas Tech baseball's Cameron Warren and Dylan Neuse Big 12 Player and Newcomer of the Week.

Warren led the Big 12 this week with three home runs and 13 RBI, all while hitting .500 for the week. He hit a home run in three-straight games, starting with a clutch grand slam with two outs in the top of the ninth on Wednesday at San Diego State that put Tech on top 12-9. Warren tallied a hit in all five games, scored eight runs, and added five walks.

Neuse, hit .450 over the week with six of his nine hits going for extra bases. He recorded two home runs over the week, along with two triples and two doubles. He led the league in runs scored with 11.

Next up for the Red Raiders is the start of Big 12 play, and it's a huge one to kick it off with, as this weekend they are on the road for a top-10 showdown at No. 9 Texas. Friday's first pitch from UFCU Disch-Falk Field is slated for 6:30 p.m.
