Body Found After Welfare Check Identified

The body that was discovered by Lubbock Police after they carried out a welfare check on Tuesday, September 24th has been identified.

Police initially responded at around 12:35 p.m. to the 6400 block of 23rd Street after receiving a check welfare call.

LPD's Carson Glenewinkel says that the body was identified as 63-year-old Greg Louis Koehler. The cause of death remains under investigation.
