KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Bob Knight and Ralph Sampson are among the eight members of the Class of 2011 of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame.

Knight, the winningest men's coach in Division I history, led Indiana to three national championships. He and Sampson are joined in the class announced Monday by coach Eddie Sutton, players James Worthy, Cazzie Russell and Chris Mullin and contributors Joe Vancisin and Eddie Einhorn.

Mullin was a member of the 1992 U.S. Olympic "Dream Team." He also played for Knight on the 1984 Olympic team.

Induction will take place at the Hall of Fame on Nov. 20 as part of a three-day celebration that includes the CBE Classic at Sprint Center featuring Missouri, California, Georgia and Notre Dame.

Knight was head coach of the Texas Tech Red Raider basketball team from 2001-2008. He had five 20 win seasons at Tech, and led the Red Raiders to the NCAA tournament four times, including a trip to the Sweet Sixteen in 2005. Knight also recorded his record breaking 880th win while at Texas Tech.
