Texas Tech Basketball's Big Russ Enters Transfer Portal

Texas Tech big man and Raider Riot favorite Russell Tchewa has reportedly entered the NCAA transfer portal.

The sophomore center will be the third Putnam Science player to commit to Texas Tech only to eventually transfer out, joining Malik Ondigo and Joshua Mballa in the last several seasons.

Texas Tech has already signed a JUCO transfer big man and is eyeing 7'3" Purdue transfer Matt Haarms, who has the Red Raiders in his top 10.

The question moving forward for Texas Tech basketball is, "Who's next to enter the portal?" With only 13 scholarships available, the roster is looking really bloated.
