Big 12 Releases FOX Sports Net Women’s Basketball Schedule, 3 Games for Texas Tech

The Big 12 released its 2012-13 women’s basketball TV schedule Tuesday on FOX Sports Net (FSN), which features 26 appearances for the league, and three for the Texas Tech Lady Raiders.

Two of Texas Tech’s three featured games on the network will take place at the United Spirit Arena.

TCU's first Big 12 Conference game against the Lady Raiders will air at noon CT on Jan. 27. FSN will air the home game against Texas at 2:30 p.m. CT on Feb. 17, and the Lady Raiders' road game at Kansas will air at 2:30 p.m. CT on Sunday Feb. 24.

The Lady Raiders play 12 non-conference games before beginning conference play in January.

Tech will prepare for the regular season with a home exhibition contest on Nov. 4 against Midwestern State before hitting the road the following week for back-to-back games to open the regular season as the Lady Raiders face Arizona State Nov. 11 then New Mexico Nov. 15.

The Lady Raiders will play their regular season home opener on Nov. 18 against Lipscomb University - the first of seven consecutive home games.

Tech begins Big 12 Conference play on Jan. 2 in Stillwater against Oklahoma State, followed by their Big 12 home opener against Iowa State on Jan. 5 and Kansas State on Jan. 9.
