Baylor women’s basketball star Brittney Griner is recovering from a broken right wrist sustained in a longboard accident.

Lady Bear head coach Kim Mulkey said the two-time All-American center will be in a cast for the next four weeks.

The school didn’t release any further details about the injury on the longboard, which is an elongated skateboard.

The injury comes only a few weeks after Griner completed her junior year and the Lady Bears ended the first 40-win season in NCAA history with their second national championship.

She averaged 23.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.2 blocks per game.

Griner was the first Baylor player named to the AP women’s college basketball player of the year, and was also recognized as the top women’s player with the John R. Wooden Award.

In her three seasons at Baylor, Griner has averaged 21.6 points and 8.6 rebounds a game with a Big 12-record 594 blocked shots. She is the first NCAA player with 2,000 career points and 500 blocked shots.
