Lubbock Police Investigators believe that there is a link between the robbery of People's Bank in Lubbock on Thursday, October 15th and the robberies in Odessa and Abilene.

In the robbery of People's Bank, located near 34th Street and Memphis Avenue, the suspect was described as a white man wearing a white button-down shirt with a red tie and blue jeans. He was wearing a light-colored mask and a tan hat. The car was described as a white four-door Explorer.

It's said that the suspect approached the register with a blue fabric bag and gave the teller a note saying he was armed. It also said he wanted all the money to be put in the bag. The teller complied and gave the suspect all the money from her register.

KAMC News reports that in the Odessa robbery, a man walked into a bank on Thursday, September 3rd and handed a note to the teller demanding cash. Odessa Police say he had a firearm and left in a white SUV. This suspect was described as white or Hispanic, 6-feet tall wearing a dark cap, blue tie and white t-shirt.

The details of the Abilene robbery have yet to be given.
