Amarillo Murder Suspect Held in Lubbock County Jail
An Amarillo murder suspect is being held in the Lubbock County Jail.
Amarillo Police issued a murder warrant for 21 year-old Billy Joe Woelfle, who is currently booked in the Lubbock County Jail.
KAMC News reports Woelfle allegedly killed 30 year-old Zachary David Cordova on August 15 in Amarillo. Cordova was found with a gunshot wound to the chest, and later died in the hospital.
Woelfle is currently charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of murder. Bond has been set at $20,000.
