A Quick Recap of all the All-American Honors for Texas Tech Baseball
The Red Raider lineup is menacing. From the top all the way to the bottom it's a force to be reckoned with, but the duo smack dab in the middle it the best one-two punch in the NCAA. Josh Jung and Cam Warren have been dominating pitching staffs all season long and have been stacking All American honors because of it.
Josh Jung has been great again this season hitting .342 with 14 home runs and 56 RBI and getting on base at a nearly .500 clip. Jung Was named a first team All American by D1Baseball. He's a 2nd teamer for NCBWA, Perfect Game, Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
Cameron Warren has put together his best season as a Red Raider and has a team-leading .354 average. He also leads the Red Raiders with 17 home runs, 76 RBI and an impressive .664 slugging percentage. Defensively he's got over 1,000 putouts with only two errors. Warren was named to the 1st team for Perfect Game, 2nd team on D1Baseball, and a couple of 3rd team honors from Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
Freshman pitcher Clayton Beeter also was honored with a Freshman team appearance for the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
