Living with diabetes can sometimes be difficult, especially for those who are new at trying to control what they can and can not eat. This weekend United Supermarkets will have program designed to help those with diabetes.

Saturday from 8:45 a.m. to noon at the Prime West Mortage Building on 98th and Slide, United Supermarkets will have the 9th annual Healthy Living In The Real World seminar. According to Brenda Duby with United Supermarkets, during the seminar participants will learn a lot from experts.

Duby says a wound care doctor will be there along with a panel of pharmacists, nutritionists, and more. Duby told the audience that education is key when it comes to diabetes and that by partnering up with the American Diabetes Association, they aim to bring as much information as possible.

The program Saturday is free and it sounds like you will get a lot of great information.

If you or someone you know has diabetes, you can schedule a Diabetes Tour with a dietitian at Market Street. Schedule an appointment at marketstreetunited.com.
