No. 15 Texas Tech Throttles Oklahoma State, 78-50
The no. 15 Texas Tech Red Raider basketball team dominated Oklahoma State on Wednesday night and picked up a victory, 78-50.
Texas Tech came out firing to begin the game as they started out 5 of 6 from three-point range. When the first half ended, the Red Raiders held a 44-23 lead, were shooting 59 percent from the floor and 9 of 14 from deep.
Tech would put the game on cruise control the rest of the way to pick up their 20th win of the season with a final score of 78-50.
This game also had its fair share of highlights, like this alley-oop Jarrett Culver tossed up for Tariq Owens.
Speaking of Jarrett Culver, he finished with a team high 19 points on 7 of 12 shooting in the victory. Matt Mooney tallied 15 points, all while going a perfect 5-5 from three-point range.
Next up on the schedule for the Red Raiders will be the Baylor Bears (16-8, 7-4 Big 12) who earned a 73-62 win over the Red Raiders in the first matchup between the two teams back on January 19th in Waco.
