William Kerns of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal Talking Movies & the Academy Awards [AUDIO]

William Kerns of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal joined the Williams & Hyatt Show Thursday afternoon to discuss the upcoming Academy Awards and events going on around Lubbock.

Kerns will release his Academy Award predictions Sunday morning in the Avalanche-Journal.

"I'm think it's a two film race between 'Hugo' and the 'Artist'," Kerns said. "If those votes split that's the way a movie like the 'Help' can slip in."
