A band originally from the Hub City is making a stop home during their North American tour. Many people know Lubbock for it's dust storms, tumbleweeds, and of course music with a few musicians ventured out of Lubbock and into the world making a name for themselves.

The country band Flatland Cavalry started in Midland but didn't come to fruition until Cleto Cordero and Jason Albers moved to Lubbock in 2014 while attending Texas Tech. Flatland Cavalry has performed with many other bands while on their respective tours as they bring a sound that can be described in so many words but leaves even more emotions behind as most of the songs are written in house.

The band works so well together as the proof is in their music and there is a definite Lubbock spark that can be felt as they play. The band did make the move to start working in Nashville, Tennessee and it has been nothing but success for everyone involved in making the North American Tour happen after a busy 2022.

The band has been making their mark in the music world and have even had their song 'Mountain Song' featured on the hit Paramount show 'Yellowstone'. Flatland Cavalry will be back home in the Hub City on April 7 and will perform at the one and only Cook's Garage but tickets will be going fast. As per the publishing of this article, tickets will be going on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, January 20, online but there are currently 106 fans already interested in snagging tickets so be swift.
