When Texas Reopens Restaurants, Will You Go Back to One? [Poll]
Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced on Monday that his stay-at-home order would be ending on April 30th, and that beginning on May 1st, all retail stores, malls, movie theaters, and restaurants will be allowed to open.
However, there are some guidelines. Until at least May 18th, the businesses that are allowed to open will only be allowed to operate at 25 percent capacity. For smaller restaurants, this could mean only a handful of tables.
There are other changes as well: customers can't wait inside; they must maintain 6 feet between parties; no groups larger than 6; and say goodbye to salt and pepper shakers. All menus must also be disposable. You find all the new rules and regulations here.
Things will look and work differently for a while it seems, and the coronavirus is still here.
When they reopen, will you go back to a restaurant? Let us know in the poll below.
