We are still a few weeks away from Lubbock pool season! Lubbock's public pools will not open in time for Memorial Weekend but we're almost there!

As the weather heats up you may live near a Lubbock pool and wonder when you will see it glistening blue with water instead of empty! When can we put on our swimsuits and jump in?

School's out soon, Lemonade Day has past, and of course we're ready for pool season, so be patient because the 4 Lubbock public pools are set to open May 28th according to Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department

2019 POOL SEASON
POOLS OPEN TUESDAY, MAY 28, 2019

City Pools - Open Tue-Sunday, 1-6 pm, $3/adult, $2/youth 17 and under, kids under 2 free!

Clapp Pool, 46th Street and Avenue U, 767-2736 - 90' water slide, concession stand, lifeguards, showers, diving boards, wading pool, ADA accessible, picnic tables
Maxey Pool, 4007 30th Street, 767-3739 - Concession stand, lifeguards, showers, diving boards, shade trees, shade umbrellas, ADA accessible -
Montelongo Pool, 3200 Bates, 767-2734 - 90' water slide, concession stand, lifeguards, showers, diving boards, shade umbrellas, separate wading pool, ADA accessible - Last Day Open August 11 - Location for K-9 Splashfest
Mae Simmons Pool, E. 24th Street off of MLK Blvd, 767-2732 - 90' water slide, concession stand, lifeguards, showers, diving boards, shade umbrellas, ADA accessible, picnic tables
