Two people have been arrested after a man claims they beat and kidnapped him, then stole his vehicle.

Lubbock Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a location outside of Lubbock city limits on October 27th, 2019 after a passerby had located someone in a cotton field.

That person was identified as Altha Williams, who claimed he was beaten and kidnapped by 30-year-old Marcques Reeder and 34-year-old Jessica Pena. Williams claimed that the two suspects stole his vehicle and dumped him in the cotton field.

Lubbock police officers located the Williams' stolen vehicle, but the suspects weren't around.

A few days later, the pair were arrested by US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, LSO SWAT, and Lubbock Police on aggravated robbery charges.
