12th Reagor-Dykes Employee Pleads Guilty in Fraud Case
A 12th Reagor-Dykes Auto Group employee has pleaded guilty to fraud charges.
Mistry Canady made an initial appearance Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 in federal court, according to KAMC News.
Canady was hired by Reagor-Dyes in 2010 and was promoted to office manager at the Spike Dykes Ford location in Lamesa. According to court records, Canady, along with other employees, falsified paperwork so that Reagor-Dykes auto dealerships could avoid paying back Ford Motor Credit Company loans on time.
Canady will be sentenced at a later date to no more than 5 years in prison.
Court records say Ford Motor Credit lost $27 million in floor plan fraud.
