Travis Tritt first wished them luck, then later congratulated the Texas Tech men's basketball team on getting into the Sweet 16 in this year's NCAA Tournament.

Saturday, Tritt offered some words of encouragement to Chris Beard and the boys before their Sunday game against Buffalo.

We were singing along to Travis Tritt's "Where Corn Don't Grow" at that game, which reminds us a lot of last year's Travis Tritt shout out from Coach Beard. It's getting to be a tradition now.

After Texas Tech's win against Buffalo, Tritt congratulated the team on "an impressive win." That's a good way to describe the 20-point victory that put the Red Raiders into the Sweet 16.

Texas Tech faces off against Michigan this Thursday. You can get all the details about the game here.

It's very cool to see Travis Tritt invested in our big win. Wreck 'em, Tech!
