Tony Stewart and his Number 14 Office Depot team won for the second consecutive week yesterday in the AAA Texas 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway.

With the win, Stewart is now 3 points behind Carl Edwards for the lead in NASCAR's Chase for the Cup.

"I don't think we have to say anything," Tony Stewart said in Victory Lane. "I think our performance spoke for itself. He knows we're there -- trust me. ... Carl kept us honest. We got all the bonus points we could get and we got the win, so we gained more than we needed to gain on the average for the week."

Stewart had the lead at multiple points during the race, including regaining the lead for good with four laps left.  Stewart passed Jeff Burton on lap 330 after he ran out of gas.

The top five finishers at the AAA Texas 500 were Stewart (Chevy), Carl Edwards (Ford), Kasey Kahne (Toyota), Matt Kenseth (Ford), Greg Biffle (Ford).
