The Houston Astros fell on Wednesday at the hands of the Washington Nationals by a score of 6-5 as that completed the two game series sweep for the Nationals.  Houston sent Scott Feldman (pictured on the right) to the mound last night as he looked for his fourth win of the season.  That did not happen however as he was forced to take a no decision after going five innings giving up two earned runs on six hits while striking out five.

Houston was able to get to Washington's starter Gio Gonzalez as also only lasted up until the fifth inning as he surrendered four earned runs on five hit while walking three.  The Astros bats were unable to have the same success against the National's bullpen though as they came in and ended any of Houston's shots of completing the comeback.

Bo Porter and company will now turn their attention to the Tampa Bay Ray for a four game weekend series.  With the series loss, Houston now sit at 32-41 on the season which is 12.5 games back of the Oakland Athletics in the AL West.  First pitch for that series against the Rays is set for tonight at 6:10pm with the pregame starting at 5:45pm and you can catch all the action on Sports Radio 1340 the FAN.
