The famous Bubba's 33 is set to open in Lubbock late next year, according to their a manager we spoke to at their Midland location.

Construction is underway next to Uncle Julio's future location in front of the South Plains Mall at the old Firestone shop.

This popular pizza and burgers spot has many locations across Texas, including our neighbors in Midland and Amarillo. The restaurant has both family style dining and a garage bar. They're owned by Texas Roadhouse, and have their own unique vision.

At Bubba's 33, there's food for all. Bold Burgers, hand-tossed Pizza, mouth-watering Wings, “delish” Dinners, and so much more... all made from scratch.

So what's with our name? Our founder is nicknamed Bubba, and 33 symbolizes a way of life. Prohibition ended in 1933 and people took to the streets to celebrate. We're still celebrating today with scratch food, ice-cold beer, and signature drinks.

Bubba’s 33 was created in 2013 by Kent Taylor, Founder of Texas Roadhouse restaurants. Kent’s vision was to create a restaurant where families, friends, and sports teams could gather to enjoy a lively atmosphere without sacrificing quality food. Bubba’s 33 is just that – a place for all things American – food, family, sports, and beer!

The photo here is of the construction underway at the old Firestone site, where, according to workers, three restaurants, including Uncle Julio's and Bubba's 33, are set to be built. It's currently unknown what the third restaurant will be.

We're excited to see a Bubba's 33 coming to Lubbock. You can follow this link to their website for all the menu and restaurant details!
