The Amarillo Sod Poodles Are Officially the Best Name in Minor League Baseball

The most legitimate source for polling and no doubt facts, Twitter, is back at it again, putting together the definitive list of Minor League Baseball mascots to see which one reigned supreme.

The Sod Poodles went through heavyweights such as the Lansing Lugnuts and the Hartford Yardgoats, before a Championship Round victory over the El Paso Chihuahuas.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that both of these teams are affiliated with the San Diego Padres. At least they're great at something.
