Video: Texas Tech Football Turns It Up in the Locker Room After Beating West Virginia
How about those Red Raiders? The Texas Tech football team got a W this weekend at Jones AT&T Stadium, and it was a wild game. That means the celebration video should be a little wild too, right?
In the clip below, which was uploaded to Texas Tech Football's official Facebook and Twitter pages, former Red Raider and current wide receivers coach Joel Filani walks into the middle of the group of pumped-up players, trying to quiet them down. They listen, then he says two simple words: "turn up."
The players go crazy, jumping up and down, screaming and, you know, turning up. They all say something at the end, but I can't really make it out.
The clip says it all, so just watch it:
The Red Raiders definitely earned this celebration. I mean, they got their first conference win of the 2020 season on Saturday. Not only that, but it was against the team the game announcers kept reminding home viewers had the best defense in college football. To put the cherry on top, the matchup also fell on Homecoming.
So yeah, they should celebrate. Great job, guys -- you made Lubbock proud this weekend with your sportsball victory.
