UPDATE: Texas Tech Says Campus Fire Now Contained [Photos, Video]

[Update] According to Texas Tech University, the fire has been contained. No injuries have been reported.

[Original Story] Late Wednesday afternoon after 5 p.m., several Twitter users at Texas Tech campus began posting images and video of a structure fire near Jones AT&T Stadium.

The fire broke out at the Texas Tech Sports Performance Center, which is currently under construction south of Jones AT&T Stadium. No information regarding how the blaze started has been released.

Firefighters arrived on the scene within a half-hour to battle the blaze, which is still burning as of 6 p.m.
