The Texas Rangers have been scheduled to play two exhibition games against the San Diego Padres at the Alamodome in San Antonio in March.The first game will be on March 29 at 7:05 p.m. and the second game will be on March 30 at 1:05 p.m.  This event was put together by Ryan-Sanders Baseball.

According to Ryan Sanders CEO Reid Ryan, he said that "there's a lot of work that needs to be done before march."  The Alamodome would need to be converted to a baseball stadium with custom fences, padded walls, dugouts and bullpens.  The dome will have a capacity of about 52,000.

The Texas Rangers will open the 2013 season after the exhibition games on the road when they will take new AL West newcomer and in state rival Houston Astros on April 2nd.
