Texas DPS Seize Over 126 Pounds of Marijuana During Traffic Stop in Carson County

Texas DPS seized over 126 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop last weekend in Carson County.

Just after 2 p.m. last Saturday (April 28), a DPS Trooper stopped a pickup traveling east on I-40 near Conway for a traffic violation. During the stop, the trooper found multiple packages of marijuana inside tool boxes in the bed of the truck.

The driver, 59 year-old Joseph Little, and passenger, 48 year-old David Belmontez, were arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana, and booked into the Carson County Jail.
